Fifteen Jordanian companies are taking part Tuesday in three major international exhibitions at the Dubai World Trade Center, with a focus on food products, trademarks and agricultural technology, aiming to explore new marketing opportunities abroad.
The Jordan Exporters Association (JEA), which is coordinating the Jordanian participation, highlighted the significance of the exhibitions due to the wide international presence of exhibitors, traders, and visitors from around the world. The events are part of Gulfood 2024, a premier platform for global food and agricultural sectors.
The three exhibitions specialize in distinct areas: sweets and snacks, private brands and licensing, and Gulfood Green 2024 is the first exhibition in the Middle East dedicated to agricultural technology and such products as vegetables, fruits, and dates.
Halim Abu Rahma, JEA Director General, praised the strong presence of Jordanian companies, which attracted significant interest from visitors, which underscores the competitiven
ess and high reputation of Jordanian industries in global markets.
Abu Rahma emphasized the importance of promoting small Jordanian firms to expand internationally, adding that such efforts would boost growth, create jobs and open new markets. The JEA is actively engaged with the Amman and Jordan Chambers of Industry to enhance Jordanian participation in international trade events and bolster trade missions, he said.
He also assured that the JEA continues to provide logistical and technical support for Jordanian companies to maximize benefit from these opportunities, which further contribute to the local economy through expanding trade ties and boosting national exports globally.
