The foreign ministers of Jordan and Ukraine discussed Tuesday over the phone the Ukrainian crisis and its repercussions and Jordan-Ukraine ties. The talks focused on the two countries’ keenness to increase bilateral cooperation in the economy, especially in economic security. Jordan Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said Jordan’s Jordan for calls for respecting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states. The top diplomats discussed the efforts of the Arab Contact Group formed by the Arab League tasked with contributing to solving the crisis, of which Jordan is a member. The Group met the Ukrainian Foreign Minister in Warsaw and the Russian Foreign Minister in Moscow in April 2023. The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, praised Jordan’s position and the humanitarian aid provided by Jordan to Ukraine.
