Jordan is hosting the U-20 World Wrestling Championship from August 14 to August 20, where competitions will be held at the Princess Sumaya Hall at the Sports City in Amman. The Secretary of the Jordanian Wrestling Federation, Mudhaffar Abdallat, said, “Jordan is ready to host the event, for which the federation has harnessed all its capabilities and staff to make the tournament a success and fulfil all international requirements according to the standards of the International Wrestling Federation.” Abdallat said the federation seeks to hold an “exceptional” tournament, adding that the federation formed committees for referees and coaches, logistics, security and media.
