The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Tuesday condemned deadly terrorist attacks that targeted places of worship in the city of Derbent in Russia’s Dagestan and a police station in the republic’s capital Makhachkala, in which a number of people were killed or injured.
The ministry’s official spokesman Sufyan Qudah expressed Jordan’s solidarity with the Russian Federation “in this painful incident, and the Kingdom’s absolute rejection and denunciation of all forms of violence and terrorism, particularly those targeting innocent civilians and places of worship and seeking to undermine security and stability.”
Qudah expressed his heart-felt condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
