The report continued: “Many residents in Gaza acknowledged that airdrops were the easiest and quickest way to reach their needs. But the challenges that came with it, such as difficult weather conditions and the possibility of being targeted in combat, cannot be overlooked. This required cooperation between the pilots and the team on the ground to ensure that the parachutes were properly guided, ensuring that the aid was delivered to the beneficiaries without any issues.”

Jordan, according to the report, succeeded in leading an international campaign to gather support not only from Arab countries, but also from Western countries that joined the effort to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza. This reflects Jordan’s global credibility and its ability to gain the trust of the international community in such crises.

The airdrops were one of the largest air relief operations in recent history, sending more than 53 cargo planes laden with aid to Gaza, in one of the largest operations in humanitarian relief. This mili
tary campaign demonstrated an appreciation of the importance of humanitarian aid, which goes beyond the mere sending of relief, but rather expresses the Jordanian state’s deep-rooted humanitarian policy positions.

Jordan was able to send more than 3,500 truckloads of aid to Gaza through Egyptian crossings. In the event of any disruption to the land crossings, JAF responded immediately to provide aid through airdrops, highlighting Jordan’s unwavering commitment to supporting its brothers in Gaza.

The report notes that Jordanians will always remain firm in supporting the steadfastness of the brothers in Gaza, and that the Jordanian airdrops were not just a humanitarian mission, but the embodiment of national efforts that seek to unite and support the Arab world in times of crisis.

Jordan’s concerted efforts with the international community are not only to provide aid, but also to save lives and restore hope in areas suffering from the scourge of war, thus, Jordan stands out as a role model in humanitarian wo
rk and spearheads relief for the brothers in Gaza.
