Amman: Jordan and Brazil’s army chiefs Monday held talks in Amman on regional developments, cooperation and military training.
Chairperson of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Hunaiti said, “Jordanian and Brazilian ties constitute a model for confronting various challenges and difficulties, and cooperation continues in all military areas through levering mutual expertise and capabilities.”
The Brazilian Chairperson of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Renato Rodriguez Freire, discussed Brazil’s “deep” ties with the Kingdom and the sharing of the security vision and moving forward towards achieving regional and international stability.
Freire praised Jordan’s role in supporting regional security and stability.
The two sides signed agreements to strengthen cooperation.
