The Joint military exercise “HERCULES 2” was concluded in Egypt with the participation of special forces from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Greece and Cyprus and the participation of Jordan, the US, Congo and Bahrain as observers in addition to a number of the experts of International Committee of the Red Cross.
The drill continued for a number of days in the fields of combat training at Mohamed Naguib military base and training zones in the Northern Military Region.
The training comes within the joint training plan of the Armed Forces to exchange expertise and boost military cooperation with the sisterly and friendly countries.
The concluding phase of the exercise included a mission to storm into a terrorist hotbed in a border village, purging it and restoring control over it.
Meanwhile, the Armed Forces organized a field visit to all the forces participating in the drills in New Alamein City to see the huge developmental projects implemented.
The visiting forces expressed their happiness over the great achievements realized.
