Jewish extremist settlers burned on Monday olive trees in Burin town, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank. The official in charge of settlement-related issues in the northern West Bank, Ghassan Daglas, stated that settlers set fire to lands south of Burin, near the settlement of Yitzhar supported by Israeli soldiers. Daglas added that the settlers cut down several trees that survived the fire, noting that the area was targeted more than once by the settlers and set on fire.
