The Jordan Europe Business Association (JEBA) hosted a dialogue session with Romanian Trade Attaché Ovidiu Costea to explore and enhance economic relations between Jordan and Romania.

During the session, Jamal Badran, Vice Chairman of JEBA, highlighted the strong and deep-rooted economic and trade relations between JEBA and the Romanian Embassy.

He emphasized the collaborative efforts in organizing economic events, including trade delegations to Romania and bilateral meetings between Jordanian and Romanian companies.

Badran underscored the robustness of the Romanian economy, describing it as one of the fastest-growing in Europe, with promising opportunities across various economic sectors.

Ovidiu Costea delivered a comprehensive presentation on the investment prospects in the Romanian market. He discussed avenues for trade cooperation, including the import and export of goods and services, and the exchange of expertise between JEBA members and Romanian counterparts across different commercial and industri
al sectors.

Fawaz Qattan, Secretary General of JEBA, outlined the association’s initiatives to bolster economic ties between Jordan and European Union countries. He emphasized JEBA’s commitment to developing the Jordanian economy by attracting investments, enhancing trade exchanges, and fostering partnerships that contribute to increased trade between Jordan and Romania.

Husam Saleh, Director General of JEBA, highlighted the association’s support for various economic sectors. He noted JEBA’s efforts in organizing events that connect Jordanian and European investors in the industrial sector, promoting Jordan as a prime tourist destination to European tourists, and supporting the renewable energy sector.
