JENIN: Israeli occupation forces forcibly evacuated families from their homes in the Jenin refugee camp today, as the Israeli regime continues its onslaught on the camp for the fifth day in a row, according to local sources.
Eyewitnesses informed our correspondent that the Israeli forces compelled families in the camp, particularly around the Abdullah Azzam Mosque, to evacuate their homes completely.
This incident is part of an ongoing pattern of forced evacuations by Israeli forces in Jenin camp since the beginning of their continuing offensive. On Saturday, families in the al-Damaj neighborhood were also forced to leave their homes.
Currently, Israeli forces are occupying dozens of homes in the eastern and al-Jabriyat neighborhoods of Jenin City, converting them into military outposts.
The ongoing Israeli assault on Jenin and its refugee camp, which began last Wednesday, has resulted in the murder of 14 Palestinians, with many others injured or arrested.
The offensive has also caused extensive damage t
o private and public property, including the destruction of water and electricity infrastructure.
