HEBRON: Colonial Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, attacked several farmers and shepherds today and seized agricultural equipment in Masafer Yatta region, located south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
The sources informed WAFA correspondent that Israeli occupation forces assaulted farmers in the Ma’in area in Masafer Yatta, chasing them away and preventing them from working on their lands. The forces also confiscated their agricultural equipment during the assault.
Meantime, an armed group of settlers chased shepherds in the Fatah Sedra area in Masafer Yatta, preventing them from accessing their lands where they would graze their livestock.
He occupation forces further closed the entrances to the populated areas in Masafer Yatta and its eastern villages using earth mounds.
