A young Palestinian man sustained injuries tonight when Israeli occupation forces opened fire on him near the Huwara military checkpoint, located to the south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources.
Ahmed Jibril, the Director of the Emergency and Ambulance Center at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Nablus, said Israeli occupation soldiers live ammunition at the young man near the Huwara military checkpoint. This shooting resulted in the young man suffering a gunshot wound to his leg.
Jibril explained that, despite his injuries, the Israeli occupation forces detained the wounded young man and have yet to release and hand him over to Palestinian medical personnel for treatment and care.
