Israeli occupation forces detain at least 17 Palestinians in West Bank, raising total to 3160 since October 7

The Israeli occupation forces detained today 17 Palestinians, most of them from the Nablus area, raising the total to 3160 detained since October 7, according to the Prisoners Commission and Prisoner Society.

Eleven Palestinians were detained during an army raid of old and new Askar refugee camps, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and three others turned themselves in at an army checkpoint near Nablus after Israel held family members as hostages to force them to turn themselves in.

Detentions were also reported in Jenin, Hebron, Qalqilya, Jericho, and Jerusalem governorates.
