RAMALLAH: Israeli occupation forces detained at least eight Palestinians, including four brothers, last night during several raids in the occupied West Bank provinces of Tulkarm, Hebron, and Nablus, according to local and Palestinian security sources.
In Tulkarm, north of the West Bank, Israeli occupation soldiers detained four brothers after raiding their family home in the city. The four were identified as Ahmad, Mohammad, Ali, and Hamza Ghazzawi.
In Hebron, south of the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Yatta and arrested a Palestinian youth. Similarly, in the nearby town of Idhna, forces arrested a resident after invading and searching his home and disturbing its contents.
The Israeli military also conducted searches in several houses in Idhna, where they broke doors and disrupted household items.
Moving north to Nablus, occupation forces carried out arrests in the early hours of the morning in the village of Burqa.
Local sources confirmed that military vehicles stormed the vill
age, positioning snipers on rooftops and surrounding a particular house. Soldiers also raided other houses in the village, arresting two residents after conducting thorough searches.
