Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces arrested 35 Palestinians from the West Bank on Sunday, including children, with two of the detainees later released.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club issued a statement detailing that the arrests took place across most of the West Bank governorates. The operations were accompanied by assaults on detainees and their families, along with widespread vandalism and destruction in citizens’ homes.
The statement further highlighted that since the beginning of the ongoing war of massacres and comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people, the occupation forces have detained over 10,200 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
The club emphasized that these arrest campaigns are a central and systematic policy employed by the occupation forces, in addition to being a prominent tool of collective punishment.
