Israeli occupation forces continued last night their mass detention campaign in the occupied West Bank, detaining at least 34 Palestinians, including four young women, during a series of raids into Palestinian cities, towns, villages and refugee camps across the occupied territory.
In Hebron province, south of the occupied West Bank, the occupation forces stormed the towns of ash-Shuyukh, Sa’ir, Beit Kahel, and Dura, where at least 21 Palestinians were reportedly arrested, including three young women.
The raids unfolded as Israeli occupation soldiers stormed and searched several homes in the targeted areas, resulting the mass detention of the 21 individuals.
Among the detainees in Hebron governorate were three young women, identified as Shahd and Angham Asafrah-both detained from the town of Beit Kahel, and Jenin Amr-who was detained from her family home in the town of Dura.
In the town of Sa’ir, at least one Palestinian was injured by live Israeli ammunition in the leg during confrontations that erupted
following the Israeli raid on the town.
In Ramallah province, in the central West Bank, the Israeli occupation army stormed the town of Beit Rima, where they detained a minimum of 13 Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes.
In Jericho, east of the territory, at least two Palestinians were reportedly arrested by the forces who raided Ein as-Sultan refugee camp in the city. The Israeli soldiers reportedly physically assaulted the wife of one of the detainees as they stormed their home in the camp.
In Bethlehem, south of the West Bank, Israeli occupation soldiers arrested a young woman identified as Umayma Sayel after raiding and searching her family home in the city. Sayel is said to be a student in the Hebron University.
At least one more Palestinian was also reportedly arrested by the forces in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
These arrests are part of an ongoing Israeli mass detention campaign in the occupied West Bank coinciding with the bloody Israeli aggression on Gaza.
