Israeli military vehicle runs over a child in Beit Furik

A Palestinian child suffered bruises today after he was run over by an Israeli military vehicle during an Israeli raid in the town of Beit Furik, to the east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to witnesses. WAFA correspondent said Zain Salem Hanani, 14, was hit and run by an Israeli military vehicle during the raid, and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is being treated for bruises. The child is in a stable health condition. Confrontations erupted between Israeli occupation forces and residents shortly after the Israeli army broke into the town at noon. The Israeli raid coincided with the time children were leaving their schools.
