Israeli hospitals in parking lots

The Israeli Ministry of Health announced that instructions have been issued to hospitals in northern Israel to relocate their operations to facilities with enhanced protection against rocket and shell fire.

The ministry stated that Rambam Hospital in Haifa will transfer patients to its secure underground facility.

It added that, in light of the current security situation, the hospitals in Carmel, Ziv, Nahariyya, Afula, Poria, Italian, and English will operate in protected areas.

Images circulated on social media show the parking lot of Rambam Hospital in Haifa, which has been converted into an emergency department.
