Israeli occupation forces, and for the fifth day in a row, intensified the military measures at al-Hamra and Tayaseer checkpoints in the northern Jordan Valley, stopping and inspecting Palestinian commuters causing big traffic jams and long delays, according to local sources. They said the forces closed bypass roads that people use to avoid long delays at the checkpoints, as well as the road taken by farmers to access their lands east of Highway 60. Several checkpoints in the Jordan Valley have obstructed the daily life of Palestinians living in that area.
