Israeli forces intensified Friday their military measures in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses told the correspondent of the Jordan News Agency in Ramallah that the Israeli army deployed hundreds of soldiers and conducted foot patrols at the various entrances to the Old City and Al-Aqsa and checked the IDs cards of Muslim worshipers.
They prevented buses carrying Muslim worshipers from the oxcupied West Bank from entering Jerusalem to perform Friday prayers.
Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers, ministers and MPs stormed Al-Aqsa Thursday.
