Israeli forces shoot and injured journalist, child west of Ramallah


Israeli occupation forces Sunday evening suppressed families and journalists in the vicinity of the Ofer military prison, west of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, while they were waiting for minor detainees to be released.

WAFA correspondent said that the occupation forces fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets, and poisonous tear gas canisters, injuring a 16-year-old child with live bullets, a 33-year-old youth with a live bullet and a journalist with rubber bullets in his hand, while dozen others suffered from suffocation, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society.

He added that the occupation forces attacked the journalists, forced them to move away from the place, fired gas and sound bombs at them, and seized the equipment of a number of them.
