Israeli occupation forces today seized around 1,500 dunums of land from the villages of Husan, Wadi Fukin, and al-Jab’a, in the southern occupied West Bank district of Bethlehem, for the benefit of colonial expansion.
The director of the Bethlehem Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission office, Hassan Brijieh, said the occupation forces seized 1,500 dunums of land from the said villages for the benefit of opening a settler-only road that runs from a locale in Husan Village through the village of Wadi Fukin and al-Jab’a to the village of Surif, northwest of Hebron.
The activist maintained that this road would have disastrous implications; including the theft and destruction of Palestinian-owned land, its negative effects on the Palestinian environment in general, and its clear impact on the western countryside of Bethlehem Governorate.
