As part of the Israeli occupation’s war on Palestinian curriculum, Israeli forces today seized textbooks from the Palestinian curriculum in the occupied city of Jerusalem, according to local sources. Israeli intelligence officers seized the textbooks from inside a car that was delivering the textbooks to one of the private schools that teaches the Palestinian curriculum in the Old City of Jerusalem. The officers detained the driver and one of the school staff. The Jerusalem Governorate condemned the occupation forces’ seizure of the Palestinian textbooks, considering it a new racist attack against Palestinian schools and our national Palestinian curriculum. She slammed this measure as an attack on the rights of the Palestinian people to education, calling on the international community and human rights organizations to confront these racist crimes against education in Jerusalem.
