GAZA: Continuing its pattern of issuing illegal evacuation orders in the war-torn Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation forces Friday evening ordered Palestinians in several areas in the northern Strip to evacuate in preparation for a possible military aggression.

The occupation forces ordered all Palestinians in blocks 967, 968, 969, 970, 971, 1738, 1739, 1740, 1746 and 1751 in the neighborhoods of al-Salateen, al-Atatra, al-Seifa, al-Karama, and al-Ghabn to evacuate and flee towards shelters in western Gaza City, claiming this is a safe area.

On Thursday, the United Nations agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) said that the occupation forces forced 250,000 people to move yet again in the war-torn Gaza Strip.

‘So far in August, the Israeli authorities issued 12 evacuation orders affecting around 250,000 people in Gaza,’ UNRWA said on X platform.

‘Families are repeatedly displaced, carrying what they can amid military operations and summer heat. There is no escape from this exhausting cycle in the Gaza Strip,’
it added.

On Wednesday, the occupation forces issued an evacuation order, targeting tens of thousands of civilians, including those who have already been forcibly displaced, who are living in Blocks 129 and 130 in the area of Al-Mahta and Deir al-Balah.

Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafah, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 40,265 Palestinians and injuring over 93,144 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million
people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
