TULAKREM: The Israeli occupation forces today continued their onslaught on the Nur Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarem city, causing widespread destruction to its infrastructure and citizens’ properties.
WAFA correspondent said that the occupation’s bulldozers destroyed the camp’s main water supply line, cutting off water. Forces also bulldozed large swathes of lands and caused massive destruction to infrastructure, its entrances, its main streets and the properties of citizens along Nablus Street adjacent to the camp.
According to sources, the occupation forces sent military reinforcement to the camp, accompanied by heavy bulldozers, imposed a tight military cordon around the camp and deployed their snipers on the rooftops of high buildings.
The occupation forces opened heavy fire at any moving object in the camp, including at journalists and Red Crescent paramedics to force them to leave.
The occupation’s military vehicles and foot patrols were stationed throughout the Nur Shams camp and at its various
entrances. forces raided and searched the homes and subjected their residents to interrogation.
Forces also raided a number of shops and commercial enterprises after breaking down their doors.
The occupation forces continue to siege the Al-Israa Specialty Hospital and the Martyr Dr. Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, preventing anyone from entering or leaving, thus obstructing the movement of medical personnel and ambulances. Forces also subjected medical and ambulance teams to field interrogations.
The occupation forces deployed their troops in the neighborhoods of Tulkarem city following a military raid in the early hours of the morning and obstructed the movement of citizens.
The occupation bulldozers also destroyed infrastructure and the water network throughout the camp.
During this aggression, two citizens from Nur Shams camp were injured by shrapnel in a drone bombing in the al-Manshiya area at the camp.
