HEBRON: This evening, Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinians and carried out raids across several areas in the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank.
According to Palestinian security sources, the two were detained after the Israeli military stopped two vehicles in the Farsh al-Hawa and Beit Einun areas in the province. The individuals were taken to an unknown location, and their vehicles were left abandoned on the roadside.
The Israeli forces also raided the towns of Yatta and Samu in the south, setting up military checkpoints in central Samu and in the quarries area west of Yatta. They stopped and searched vehicles belonging to local residents.
In the northern region of Hebron, specifically in the Al-Arrub refugee camp, the Israeli forces raided several neighborhoods, firing live ammunition and tear gas at residents’ homes. No injuries or additional detentions have been reported from this incident.
