HEBRON: Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday bulldozed more than 20 dunums of land, uprooted over 600 trees, and demolished several agricultural structures and water wells belonging to Palestinian residents in the town of Beit Ula, west of Hebron.

Ibrahim al-‘Adam, a member of the Beit Ula municipal council, told WAFA that Israeli forces, accompanied by bulldozers and heavy machinery, stormed two areas west of the town, and destroyed more than 20 dunums of land and cut down over 600 olive and fruit trees.

The forces also demolished several agricultural facilities, including five agricultural rooms, five wells and multiple plastic water tanks. Additionally, they tore down retaining walls and iron fences owned by several local families.

The demolitions were carried out under the pretext that these areas are located in Area C, which constitutes over 60% of the occupied West Bank and remains under full Israeli military and administrative control.

The destruction caused significant financial losses for the a
ffected families and widespread damage to their properties.
