All throughout Monday night and into Tuesday morning, the Israeli enemy’s reconnaissance aircraft flew over villages in southern Lebanon’s western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the city of Tyre, and penetrating as far as the Litani River.
Simultaneously, the enemy deployed illuminating bombs above the bordering villages adjacent to the Blue Line in the districts of Tyre and Bint Jbeil.
Moreover, the enemy’s heavy artillery bombarded, starting around 1:30 am, the outskirts of the towns of Naqoura, Jabal al-Labouneh, Alma Al-Shaab, Ramieh, Al-Jebbein, Al-Dhaira, Aita Al-Shaab, and Chehour with heavy artillery shells.
Echoes reverberated throughout the area after a retaliatory rocket intercepted by the Iron Dome exploded over the town of Naqoura, prompting UNIFIL forces to sound alarm sirens.
Additionally, intermittent shelling targeted Jabal al-Labouneh in the vicinity of the southern town of Naqoura around 2:00 am.
In the early morning hours, the enemy’s artillery targeted the outskirts
of Naqoura, Yarine, Al-Jebbein, Al-Dhaira, Aita Al-Shaab, and Chehour.
