Israeli colonists cut off dozens of olive trees west of Bethlehem

RAMALLAH: Israeli colonists today destroyed dozens of olive trees on Wednesday in the lands of Husan village, west of Bethlehem.

Rami Hamamra, director of the Husan village council, said that a group Israeli colonists broke 70 olive trees in the lands of Wadi al-Hamra adjacent to the illegal colony of Beitar Illit.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli colonists have escalated their attacks on citizens’ lands in Husan, including seizing lands, bulldozing others, and uprooting olive and almond trees.

Recently, colonists carried out 206 acts of vandalism and theft of Palestinian property, which affected vast areas of land, and the attacks also resulted in the uprooting of 477 trees, including 397 olive trees in the governorates of Hebron, Salfit, Bethlehem, Nablus, and Ramallah.
