Israeli colonists attack a Bedouin community near Jericho

JERICHO: Colonial Israeli settlers launched a violent attack today on residential houses, pelting them with stones, and set fire to three livestock sheds in the Bedouin community of Arab Al-Malihat community, located to the west of Jericho in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Hassan Malihat, a local activist who is an advocate of the rights of Bedouins, told WAFA that dozens of colonial settlers attacked the homes of local residents in the Arab Al-Malihat community, pelting them with stones.

The attackers also set fire to livestock sheds belonging to a local Palestinian resident.

Terror attacks by Israeli settler militias are a common feature of the daily life under colonial settler occupation, but have seen exponential growth in recent months with the rise of far-right fascism to Israel’s government coalition.
