BETHLEHEM: An Israeli colonizer Sunday shot a Palestinian shepherd in the village of Kaysan, east of Bethlehem.

The head of the Kisan Village Council, Musa Abayat, told WAFA that the security official for the ‘Ibi Hanahel’ colony, which is located on citizens’ lands, shot local resident Yasser Musa Ghazal, and his flock of sheep while he was in the Bir Kisan area, west of the village.

No casualties were reported, however.

He added that Israeli attacks on Palestinian shepherds have recently increased, the most recent of which was the killing of a number of sheep after Israeli colonists threw rocks at them.
