Since Saturday afternoon, the Israeli forces have tightened their control and measures in Nablus in the occupied West Bank, especially in Hawara town. The Israeli forces raided Palestinian homes and shops in the Hawara and Aqraba towns in Nablus, arrested two civilians and took them to unknown detention. They prevented shop owners from opening their shops on Sunday morning. The Directorate of Education in southern Nablus announced the suspension of school hours in Huwara today due to the Israeli crackdown. The directorate stated that the decision came after consultation with the Acting Governor of Nablus, the Hawara municipality and the town’s institutions. The siege imposed on Nablus comes one day after two settlers were killed in Hawara.
