BEIRUT: Three Lebanese individuals, including a soldier from the Lebanese Army, lost their lives today as Israeli airstrikes targeted various regions across Lebanon.
According to the National News Agency, the Israeli air force conducted an attack on the city of Bint Jbeil, south of the country, while a drone strike hit the town of Qounin, resulting in civilian casualties.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army confirmed the killing of one of its soldiers following an Israeli strike on a military position in the town of Bint Jbeil.
In addition, airstrikes were reported on a home in the Kayfoun area of Mount Lebanon and three locations in the southern district of Beirut, including one on Haret Hreik.
Meantime, in a concerning development, the Israeli military issued evacuation warnings to residents in 25 villages in southern Lebanon. The listed villages include Al-Kharayeb, Arzi, Zarariyah, Adloun, Ansar, and several others.
