BEIRUT: Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes after midnight last night on several towns in southern and central Lebanon.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli aircraft targeted the towns of Tayr Harfa, Al-Abbasiya, Al-Burj Al-Shimali, Khiam, Tayr Debba, and Tura in southern Lebanon.
Additionally, strikes were launched on the outskirts of the towns of Taraiyya and Shimstar in the Bekaa Valley in central Lebanon.
The airstrikes were accompanied by reconnaissance and warplanes flying over Lebanese airspace.
