Dozens of civilians were brutally murdered and many others sustained injuries today in a series of Israeli airstrikes which targeted residential squares in various areas of the Gaza Strip. WAFA correspondent said Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Najjar family in the Maan area, east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. The attack resulted in the tragic murder of three civilians, with several others wounded. Extensive property damage was inflicted in the area as a result of the Israeli strike. Additionally, scores of civilians lost their lives and many more were injured as Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City. In a separate incident, a number of civilians, including women and children, were killed, and others injured as a result of the Israeli bombardment of a residential area in the center of Rafah city, located in the southern region of Gaza which Israel claims to be a safe zone. Emergency response teams, along with rescue crews and citizens, are currently trying to evacuate the casualties from beneath the rubble of the destroyed homes following the Israeli airstrikes.
