A series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling across various parts of the Gaza Strip over the last few hours resulted in the killing and injuries of several civilians, including women and children.
According to health sources, six people were killed and five others were injured when an Israeli airstrike targeted a home near Al-Badr Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
The victims were identified as Ahmed Nayef Radi, Nayef Ahmed Radi, Na’ila Ahmed Radi, Alaa Nazir Al-Naffar, Na’ila Ali Radi, and Shatha Nayef Radi. The wounded were transported to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that six fatalities and several injuries were transported to the hospital following the airstrike on the Radi family home.
Civil defense teams also recovered bodies from the rubble of a house in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, and efforts were underway to locate additional missing individuals.
In Khan Younis, several people were injured in a
n Israeli airstrike that targeted the city center.
Additionally, rescue teams recovered the bodies of six individuals from various areas in Rafah, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
In the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike targeted the home of the Al-Haddad family, resulting in the murder of a woman and her daughter, with others injured or missing. The victims were also taken to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital.
Furthermore, three more individuals were killed and five others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Sabra neighborhood early this morning.
An additional airstrike on a home in the Maghazi refugee camp resulted in one civilian killed and several others injured, while another strike on the Nuseirat refugee camp also led to a fatality and multiple injuries.
Meantime, Israeli occupation forces destroyed residential buildings in the Zeitoun neighborhood for the second time within hours.
