Israeli airstrike on Khan Younes kills Palestinian, wound four others

An Israeli airstrike Thursday evening killed a Palestinian and wounded at least four others in Bani Sahla town, east of Khan Younes city, in the southern Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent. He said that an Israeli warplane fired at least a missile at a house in the southern coastal enclave town, killing a Palestinian, wounding four others and causing extensive property damage. He reported medical sources at the European Hospital in the city confirming that a Palestinian was killed and four others were injured, noting that the casualties are hospitalized. Israeli army airstrikes also targeted Palestinian farmlands, an industrial facility, and several buildings in various parts of the Gaza Strip, causing damage to the building and as well as to nearby houses. Israel has launched airstrikes against the besieged Gaza Strip for the third consecutive day, resulting in the killing of 26 Palestinians, including women and children, and wounding over 70 others. This rises the total death toll of Palestinians at the hands of Israeli army and settlers since the start of 2023 to 140 in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip, including 26 children and six women.
