Israeli occupation authorities approved today the expansion of a settlers-only road at the expense of Palestinian lands in the town of Al-Khader, to the south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources. Ahmed Salah, a local Palestinian activist, told WAFA that the occupation authorities approved the expansion of a road for Israeli settlers at the expense of Palestinian lands in the Umm Rukba area, on the outskirts of the town. He said the Umm Rukba area has been subject to numerous attacks by the Israeli occupation forces, including home demolitions, stop-construction orders, and stoning attacks by Israeli settlers.
