Israel kills a Palestinian young man in Jenin

Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian youth tonight and injured another one during a military attack on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp in the north of the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources. Wissam Bakr, the director of Jenin Governmental Hospital, told WAFA that 19-year-old Amir Maher Al-Qaisi succumbed to his critical injuries inflicted by Israeli gunfire. Bakr further reported that another individual was injured during the incident. Earlier tonight, Israeli occupation forces entered the city from various directions, deploying military vehicles and bulldozers. The forces began vandalizing infrastructure and roads, destroying a number of power transformers in the city and in the vicinity of the refugee camp. Snipers were positioned on the rooftops of several homes and structures, leading to confrontations with local residents. The confrontations resulted in Israeli occupation soldiers opening fire on civilians, causing the death of Al-Qaisi and injuring another individual. Additionally, power outages were reported in the Jenin camp and its surroundings due to the destruction of power transformers by the occupation forces.
