JERUSALEM: Israeli occupation authorities Friday forced a Palestinian family to demolish three shops that they owned in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Yassin Qaraeen said that the occupation authorities forced his family to demolish three shops by decision of the occupation municipality in Jerusalem, under the pretext that they were built without a license.
He added that the shops had been in place for more than 30 years, and that the family demolished them to avoid the heavy fines that would be paid to the occupation municipality if it carried out the demolition process.
