Israel continues its siege of the town of Aqraba for second day

For the second day in a row, Israeli occupation forces continued today their strict siege of the town of Aqraba, located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Salah Jaber, the mayor of Aqraba, informed WAFA that Israeli occupation forces are still enforcing a blockade on the town, having sealed off its entrances, preventing residents from entering or leaving.

The occupation forces carried out raids on several homes and conducted on-site investigations with residents, he added. They also inspected surveillance footage from commercial establishments and residences in the town.

Jaber stated that, in the early hours of the morning, he occupation forces arrested three workers from Gaza who have been residing in the town after being expelled from their workplaces in Israel after the outbreak of Israeli atrocities in the Gaza Strip.
