Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Swailem said on Friday the Irrigation Ministry’s projects aim to meet all the agricultural sector’s needs to serve farmers.

Swailem’s remarks came during his inspection tour of irrigation projects in Sharkia governorate, accompanied by Governor Mamdouh Ghorab, Grand Mufti Shawki Allam, Supply Minister Ali Moselhi, MPs, and senators.

The minister met with a number of farmers and listened to their opinions, directing the governorate’s officials to follow up on the situation of bridges established on El Sababa canal.
