International Cooperation Minister Rania Al Mashat has praised great efforts on development cooperation between Egypt and the World Bank with a $6.8-billion portfolio.
The minister made remarks on Monday at an event to launch a report on achieving the demographic dividend in Egypt.
The report is announced by the bank in the presence of the ministers of social solidarity, health and education.
The fruitful partnership between Egypt and the WB included offering help to Cairo to support the private sector and back efforts on green economy transition and sustainable growth, the minister said.
Al Mashat added that both sides also cooperated to support social protection and wise governance systems, among others.
