Cairo: Under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, the first International Conference on Management and Innovation in Social Security will kick off tomorrow, Tuesday, 11th February 2025, in Cairo. The event is hosted by the National Authority for Social Insurance and will last for three consecutive days. Representatives from 138 agencies and international organisations from 81 countries around the world are expected to participate in the conference.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the National Authority for Social Insurance stated that the conference aims to exchange ideas and new visions on innovative management methods for social security systems and to coordinate among relevant institutions to enhance the financial inclusion framework, which focuses on providing the best services to citizens.

The conference represents a genuine opportunity for exchanging experiences between countries and reviewing innovative practices in social security systems. It will also attract a group of speakers from global economic organisations, policymakers, and both public and private pension funds.

The event has a rich agenda featuring numerous topics related to pension systems, which will discuss innovation in the Egyptian social security system, the evolution of governance and management to build innovative and flexible social security institutions, and the speed of response in service delivery, as well as generating innovative solutions, particularly in times of crisis. Additionally, it will showcase the innovative experiences of participating countries and prepare educational workshops on innovation.
