AJMAN: The International Charity Organisation announced that projects launched inside and outside the UAE exceeded AED246 million in the first half of 2024, during the meeting of the Board of Trustees held at the headquarters of the Organisation in the Emirate of Ajman, headed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
On this occasion, Sheikh Mohammed Al Nuaimi said that the support of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, served as a bridge to implement thousands of charitable projects that serve remote communities and enhance the quality of life for individuals, such as schools, health centres, mosques, and Quran memorisation centres, in addition to well-drilling projects, productive family projects, support for unemployed youth, and other initiatives and projects.
Al Nuaimi noted that the achievements of the first half
are not just numbers, but rather great initiatives that had a significant impact on the underprivileged, and changed the poverty equation in villages, turning the lives of orphans into success stories, and the suffering of poor families into hope for a new life.
For his part, Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the Organisation, reviewed the most important success milestones during the Ramadan and Al Adha campaigns, and how the Organisation was able to leave a distinctive mark through its field visits in the first half of the year, which included Senegal, Mauritania, Niger, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries.
