DAKAR: The delegation of the International Charity Organisation (ICO), led by Dr. Khalid Abdul Wahab Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the organisation, toured 90 charitable and development projects as part of its visit to Senegal.

These projects include the construction of mosques, drilling of wells, building Holy Quran memorisation centres, food distribution projects, small production projects, and others.

In his statements, Al Khaja said that this visit is part of the organisation’s efforts to ensure the high efficiency of project implementation and to achieve the desired goals of supporting needy communities and improving their living conditions.

He also indicated that the delegation visited the most needy areas in a step aimed at extending a helping hand to those in need.

He added that the philanthropic organisation’s delegations have visited 10 countries since the beginning of 2024, in a step aimed at expanding the scope of their work and field monitoring of charitable projects to enhance trust with be
nefactors who have been the bridge of giving that connected the organisation to the underprivileged and needy in various countries around the world.
