The Interior Ministry on Friday announced that it has taken legal measures against 9,574 persons for not wearing face masks in security campaigns conducted in a span of 24 hours.
As many as 720 violations of shop closure decisions were also detected, said the ministry in a statement.
The move falls within the framework of the Cabinet’s decision on taking all needed preventive measures to curb the spread of coronavirus, the statement added.
