Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq met Saturday 27/01/2024 with Secretary General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers Mohammad Bin Ali Kuman who is currently visiting Cairo in preparation for the annual ministerial meeting of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, scheduled to be held in the Tunisian capital at the end of February.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged a number of topics scheduled to be presented on the agenda of the next ministerial meeting of the Council, in addition to reviewing ways to support and develop mechanisms for joint Arab security cooperation in various security fields.
For his part, Tawfiq praised the effective coordination role played by Kuman in strengthening multilateral Arab security cooperation and disseminating Arab police expertise among the member states of the Council.
