Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek el Molla said on Monday 22/8/2022 more efforts and innovative solutions are required during the current period to increase oil production in light of current global prices.
Molla was speaking during his meeting with heads of oil companies, including Khaleda Petroleum, Agiba Petroleum Company, Belayim Petroleum, Badr El Din Petroleum Company, GUPCO – Gulf of Suez Petroleum, and General Petroleum Company, who briefed him on the current situation of oil production in the Western Desert, Gulf of Suez, Sinai, Nile Delta, and the Mediterranean and their plans to increase production.
The minister noted that he is keen to follow up on the plan of increasing production in addition to offering full support for these companies.
