Injuries reported after Israeli raids in southern Lebanon

At least three people in Lebanon Tuesday were injured in Israeli raids and gunfire in the southern parts of the country, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.

The Ministry reported that two people were injured in an Israeli raid on the town of Markaba and another was injured as a result of Israeli gunfire on the Khiyam town.

A Lebanese security official said the Israeli forces shelled the town of Shebaa in the Arqoub area, targeting shepherds in the area without recording any injuries.

Separately, the command of the UNIFIL forces in southern Lebanon announced that one of its contractors was injured by gunfire on his way to provide services to the Spanish battalion affiliated with UNIFIL.
